Why Obama’s Pastor’s comments aren’t racist or anti-American
We have sat back and watched as the media has painted Barack Obama’s former Pastor Jeremiah Wright as a racist and anti American. We can’t hold our peace anymore. Foxnews’ Bill O’Reilly aired the clips and labeled Rev. Wright a racist and anti American for what??? Telling the truth. Let’s just keep it all the way 100. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was labeled anti American during his fight for civil rights, basic rights that every human is born with. The media labeled Malcolm X as militant and racist because he spoke against the hypocrisy of the United States of America, how they could be fighting a war in Vietnam for freedom and justice when black people in America weren’t even free and were still being Lynched at alarming rates. So let’s jump into the discussion at hand regarding Rev. Jeremiah Wrights alleged incendiary comments (Folk crack us up with these words).
In the video of clips that Foxnews put together themselves of Rev. Wrights comments from different sermons of which they have still yet to release in completion, he calls the USA the US of KKKA. Now in this great country of ours Nathan Bedford started the KKK somewhere we believe in the 1800’s as a way to deter blacks from voting. They terrorized blacks by beating, killing, raping, burning, and hanging (Lynching) them by the thousands and the Government never blinked an eye or attempted to disband this terroristic homeland group of animals. The Black Panthers appeared somewhere in the late 60s or early 70’s and encouraged black people to pursue education and better themselves, and the Government immediately broke them up. So is Rev. Jeremiah Wright wrong when referring to America by the moniker that they themselves earned??? People hate truth.
Rev. Wright said “The stuff we have done over seas is now brought right back into our own front yards. America’s chicken’s are now coming home to roost.” Ok many believe the he is referring to the thousands of Americans that perished in the cowardly attacks of 9/11. If you believe in the bible and GOD then you also believe in the spiritual law of ‘reaping what you sow‘ which just means that you get back what you put out. America has for sure murdered innocent people in many different countries. One instance that comes to mind is a few years ago when the CIA supposedly got wind of intelligence that said Al-Quaida 2nd in charge Al Zaquari would be eating dinner at a residence in Afghanistan and we dropped missiles and bombs blowing up the house and killing innocent women and children and missing our target who was not even there. When Afghanistan citizens produced public outcry our only response from Condoleezza Rice was “they were casualties of war“. To their citizens this callous non remorseful response definitely had American Terrorism written all over it. One country’s freedom rider is another country’s terrorist. Not our words it’s a famous quote. Rev. Wright said that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and there weren’t, we still haven’t found anything not even a whiffle bat as Chris Rock so eloquently put it. We all know the invasion was about personal revenge and oil.
So once again how does telling nothing but the truth make you an anti-American racist??? The strongest point we would like to make is this. Adolf Hitler was responsible for the murder of over 6million Jews it is reported, and he is labeled as a diabolical person as he should be. America’s 1st and most beloved President George Washington owned slaves, participated in the inhumane institution thereof along with Thomas Jefferson, and many other beloved American Presidents, but not one of these men are portrayed as evil and why is that??? Slavery was responsible for the death of way more Africans than Hitler was of Jews. So why are our leaders painted as super heroes????????? We know one word HYPOCRISY. But once again people can’t stomach too many doses of truth. Jeremiah Wright can love America with it’s many flaws and still condemn their wrong actions and practices without being an anti patriot.
We don’t agree with everything he said in the videos, but so what, that is his opinion, and perception. Foxnews’ Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, and countless other white members of the media cannot understand the point of view Rev. Wright holds because they haven’t experienced the harsh racism and hatred that black men have, so it is very easy to turn and twist what he is saying as him spewing hatred when he is not doing that. He is speaking from the perception of a black man. It seems when black people bring up America’s dirty past the media spins it as preaching division and hatred. Why is that? These disgusting things happened here on this soil of the land of liberty. This is fact so why attempt to paint America as a land devoid of flaws? No address them and embrace what America has evolved into. All Rev. Jeremiah Wright was doing was addressing the many flaws.

Does Obama’s race matter?
Barack Obama’s speech today on race may have been a blessing in disguise.
Perhaps the biggest question surrounding the senator from Illinois was whether he had the stomach for the kind of bare knuckle campaign he is likely to face at the hands of the Republicans if he is the nominee. Pastor Jeremiah Wright gave Obama the chance to “show us the money.”
In the face of a withering barrage of taped replays by the media of Wright’s comments, Obama had little choice but to suck it up and face the issue head on.
Obama wrote the speech himself. No speechwriters. At one point he said that while he absolutely disagrees with some of the things Reverend Wright said, he can’t disown his pastor anymore than he can his white grandmother… a woman he says sacrificed for him and helped raise him, but who also confessed her fear of black men who walked by her on the street and who used racial stereotypes. Obama said, “These people are a part of me. And they are a part of America, this country that I love.”
In retrospect, this episode may have given us all a chance to see how Obama responds when the going gets a little rougher than what he’s probably used to. The Pastor Wright incident may have been the baptism by fire that Obama needed to seal his credentials to make the run for the White House.
Here’s my question to you: Does Barack Obama’s race matter to you?
Interested to know which ones made it on air?
Len from Washington writes:
No, Jack, his race doesn’t matter to me one bit. I’m a 60-year-old white guy who thinks that this morning I may have heard the best comments by anyone in my adult lifetime about this topic. Regardless of what may happen with his candidacy, Mr. Obama brought eloquence and vision to millions of Americans today – things that have been sorely missing from our leaders for decades.
Jo Ann from Iowa writes:
Obama’s race does not matter to me. I was a precinct captain for Obama in Iowa and I am white. Race was not an issue in the Iowa caucuses. Obama doesn’t want race to be an issue now, but the media keeps talking about it and how it affects the nomination and who supports which candidate. Over and over, endlessly. The media needs to stop dividing us.
Clinton from Memphis, Tennessee writes:
Yes, it does matter and to say it doesn’t would be ignoring the facts. I have heard it out of people’s mouths. They say “I am not voting for a black guy.”
Ruby writes:
Obama’s race does not matter to me, but who he associates with does matter. We Democrats cannot criticize Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson for their incendiary remarks and then give Obama a pass. He was a member of the church for 20 years and this surely is not the first time he has heard Wright preach hate against a whole group of people. Just as I would not support someone who belonged to a Neo Nazi group I cannot support someone who listens and obviously silently agrees with Rev. Wright’s sermons.
Mike from Wisconsin writes:
No, Obama’s race doesn’t matter at all except for his “race” to the White House. Obama’s speech this morning was brilliant and addressed the very serious issue of the continuing race problem in this country. He appeared presidential and in control. Shortly after his speech, I watched Hillary’s press conference. How dare she act like the already-elected president? Her arrogance is beyond belief.
Coady from Winter Springs, Florida writes:
Jack, The fact that you have to ask proves it does.
